For decades, the Brown and Sadie Burrell Family Club has proudly hosted this event for our family. As our family continues to grow, so does the cost of feeding so many people.
This year, we're trying something a little different. Instead of a handful of family members covering the cost of food for everyone, we're asking each family to bring their own picnic favorites and help share in the experience.
Pack your cooler, bring your favorite snacks, drinks, desserts, and family specialties, and make a day of it. Whether you bring enough for two or enough to feed a small army, that's your business—we know how family does picnic food.
One important note: please do not bring canopies. The park limits the number of canopies allowed in our reserved area, and we have already reserved the maximum number permitted. There will be plenty of shade available under the family canopies and throughout the picnic area.
Find your cousins, pull up a chair, introduce yourself to someone new, and enjoy the day together. After all, that's what family reunions are all about.

Throughout the day, we'll have activities for all ages, including children's games, adult games, family challenges, music, and opportunities to win prizes.
For those who take their competition seriously, we'll also be hosting several reunion tournaments. Think you've got the best domino strategy? The strongest spades partner? The smoothest cornhole game? Here's your chance to prove it.

Whether you're competing for bragging rights, a prize, or family glory, we encourage everyone to join in.
And for those who prefer to stay on the sidelines, there will be plenty of entertainment, conversation, music, and cousin-to-cousin trash talk to enjoy throughout the day.
The final schedule and tournament details are still being developed, but one thing is certain: no one is ever bored at our picnics.
